Don’t buy it. There is no severs available in multiplayer mode. No patch is available to current version. In 2011 one patch was made to get the 1.7 version. But its seems that the current mac version 1.7.549 is no compatible anymore with the servers. Therefore with this current version on the mac appstore, its impossible to use the multiplayer mode. Waste of money.

i was really excpecting something better, WAY better ! its actually not really good, i wouldnt suggest that you buy it trust me !

This game is fantastic! The multiplayer workes fine, you just have to hit refresh once or twice, and the campaign is unbelievable. It is without question, that this is one of the best, if not the best COD game, easilly beeting out MW3! The graphics are fresh and crisp, and the voice acting is hilarious. The multiplayer is fantastic, being very immersive and entertaining. FANTASTIC

I just got this game today. Though it has only been a couple of hours I am having so much fun. Multiplayer works great!! and single player is also amazing!!. I do have a playstation three with MW on it and personally I like it better on here. I Just got my computer yesterday and since I got this for university I got a 100$ app store gift card… So me (being the gamer that I am) saw this on the app store and immediately bought it. I have a Macbook pro 13" 2012 new model with lion 2.5 ghz processor with i5. And 8 gigs of RAM. There are no frame drops and it is AMAZING!!!!. Also I heard that Aspyr is putting black ops on here Lookin forward to that!!

I install mountain lion and now when I launch COD4 it starts up and the screen goes black, I can hear sound but cant see anything? Whats going on with this app? Always problems!

game is amazing. multiplayer if phenomenal only thing is there are a few to many hackers with aim bots which can get rather annoying especially for beginners

I played online for 2 days. And yesterday, all of a sudden, no servers were showing up on my server list. No setting were changed. It simply stopped working. FIx & I will rate 5 star

i cant find the call of duty 4 folder...

I love call of duty multiplayer!!! and i got this today because it just got cheaper but when I started playing multyplayer and it keeps on sayn ERROR KEYCODE IN USE TRY AGAIN LATER and i cant fix it plaese fix bug

im not a gamer but i just inistall this on my macbook pro 15 inch ratina display and its awsome i cant stop palying it i put the graphic in highest mode, its puting presure on computer and making it hot even you can hear the fan sound but no crash or slowing down problem well done !

The game in its self is ok. everything works fine but the multiplayer is terrible. There are literally no servers that arent overflowing with hackers or heavily modded. The price is also exaggerated, $29.99 for Cod4!? Really? This game has been out for 5 years not worth even close to $30. The game is barelly worth $10 considering the crappy multiplayer. If you are buying for the multiplayer because you already know the storyline (like me) dont waste your money.

The game has great graphics and good guns exept it lags someties and multiplayer is ok

I used to play this game in windows, but now i still choose to play it one more time at a Mac coz its just great. i really hope that there will be call of duty 10 in app store sometime in the short run.

For those of you having issues playing multiplayer ("Key Code in use") it is quite simple to fix. 1) Open Finder 2) Navigate to /User/Library/Preferences (If Library is hidden, unhide it with the terminal command "chflags nohidden ~/Library/") 3) Delete "com.aspyr.callofduty4.plist" 4) Launch Call of Duty 4 and multiplayer should now work!!

Its a very fun game but most of the time when I try and join a server it will say key code in use. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

you have got to be kidding me! i just bought this friking game for $19.99 with the promise FROM APPLE that it would work flawlessly. capital B and capital S is what i think about this crap!
